Job summary

AtlantiCare’s Heart & Vascular Unit on the Mainland Campus seeks a Patient Care Technician for per diem daytime shifts. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision, assist with personal care, and support the care plan while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

Role requires high school diploma, BLS within 30 days, CPI training within 1 year, and 8 weeks of patient care education or experience. English proficiency is essential; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer into the role.
• At least 8 weeks of patient care education or direct patient care experience; or enrolled in a nursing school.
• Pronounced English language ability; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care functions under the supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with personal care needs and support the plan of care.
• Collect test specimens and document patient care activities.
• Communicate observations and data to the Clinical Associate.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the care team.
