Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a part‑time Installer/Trainer in the Washington, DC area to help customers set up and use CaptionCall phones. You will train customers in their homes, troubleshoot devices, and promote CaptionCall services. The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

Travel is less than 25% and no supervisory responsibilities. High school diploma or GED required; sales and hearing-health experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Experience in hearing health field.
• Experience working with senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and referrals.
• Attend trade shows and corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer Installer/Trainer candidates for local deployments.
• Complete service calls and maintain customer records.
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
