Job summary

Sonova Group is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Deland, FL, to support clinical staff and ensure quality patient care. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and managing patient intake.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, prior customer service experience, and preferably knowledge of hearing aids. Benefits include 401K matching and discounts on hearing aids for employees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a health care environment is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to current and former patients for scheduling.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files.
• Complete benefit checks and authorization for each patient’s insurance.
• Provide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out.
• Process repairs under the supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist with event planning for community outreach events.
