Job summary

American Hearing Care in Florence, AL seeks a full-time Patient Outreach & Scheduling Specialist to conduct outbound and inbound calls, generating appointments across Alabama and nearby states. You will build rapport with patients, guide scheduling to the nearest clinic, and carefully document activities in our systems.

The role requires strong communication, persistence, and the ability to meet call, appointment, and conversion targets while supporting clinic growth and patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outbound calling and appointment setting.
• Understanding of insurance coverage basics to access hearing benefits.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calls and meeting performance goals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling and CRM systems.
• Experience with Sycle software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to prospective, existing, and former patients to generate appointments.
• Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls related to events and outreach activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers across marketing channels.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to refer qualified patients and support relationships.
• Schedule hearing evaluations and other appointments at clinic locations.
• Document call attempts, outcomes, and patient information changes in company systems.
