IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant Manager to assist the Cafeteria Manager at the campus level. You will lead a CNP team, oversee food production quality, and ensure nutritious meals for every student.

The role requires strong leadership, food service experience, and adherence to USDA and state standards. Benefits include extensive healthcare, tuition reimbursement, and paid family leave.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Valid Food Handler's Card preferred (willing to obtain within 30 days).

Mansioni

• Direct the team to execute the approved menu 100% every day.
• Ensure every student participating in the meal program takes a reimbursable meal.
• Ensure all counting and claiming methods are compliant.
• Observe counting and claiming at time of service.
• Check that all counts of student meals are accurate.
• Enter all counts into internal trackers and PrimeroEdge.
• Recruit top notch FSS and FSS Sub candidates from the area.
• Hold weekly employee huddles and review timesheets every Tuesday.
• Provide feedback on performance and growth opportunities.
• Develop Cafeteria Assistant Manager for potential promotion to Cafeteria Manager.
