Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant Manager to support the Cafeteria Manager on campus. You will lead a CNP team, monitor food quality, manage inventory, and handle payments and data entry while upholding USDA standards.

You will also drive staff development, payroll accuracy, and client communication with parents and students, aiming to deliver nutritious meals and a positive dining experience daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 2+ years in food service, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team to execute the approved menu 100% every day.
• Ensure every student participates in the meal program with a reimbursable meal.
• Ensure counting and claiming are compliant and accurate.
