IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant Manager to support the Cafeteria Manager at the campus level, ensuring healthy, appealing meals and compliance with USDA standards. You will order supplies, monitor food production quality, manage sales records, and coordinate with the Cafeteria Manager to advance College For All at the campus.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring accurate meal counts, and maintaining data in PrimeroEdge, with a pathway to growth within IDEA’s

Formación

• 2+ years in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Card preferred (willing to obtain within 30 days).

Responsabilidades

• Direct the team to execute the approved menu 100% every day.
• Ensure every student participating in the meal program takes a reimbursable meal.
• Ensure counting and claiming are compliant and observed at service time.
• Enter all counts correctly into internal trackers and PrimeroEdge.
• Lead or support staff development and timely feedback for growth opportunities.
• Support cafeteria manager to promote healthy meals and compliance with standards.
