Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a clinical unit within a department. You will plan, organize, and develop goals and procedures, and represent the unit to administrators and external partners to ensure high-quality health care delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of supervisory experience (or 7 years of combined education/experience). Prior correctional facility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; supervisory experience or equivalent of seven years.
• Three years of supervisory experience OR seven years of education/experience combined.
• Experience in a correctional facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a unit within a department.
• Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit.
• Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters.
• Supervises subordinate staff.
