Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead and delegate care to the health care team, ensuring safety and efficiency within the unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate patient care, and document interventions in EMR.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least four years of related experience, with preferred supervisory experience and an associate degree in nursing. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Abilene area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved accredited nursing program.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Texas or able to transfer.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least four years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate nursing care to health care team members.
• Monitor patient data via EHR to support decision-making and care delivery.
• Ensure staff education and proper supervision of job functions.
• Investigate quality of care concerns and report findings.
• Assist with exams/procedures and document interventions in EMR.
