Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as Epic staff. You’ll shape staff experiences during their transition to Epic and contribute to the end-to-end training process from design to delivery.

You will work in a collaborative team, develop training materials, and help tailor content to diverse organizations, ensuring intuitive software use and effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, in addition to staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users; shape their Epic experience.
• Develop training materials and scenarios from instructional design through delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and training outreach.
• Participate in projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
