Job summary
La Crosse County is seeking a professional to develop and implement training for the Long Term Care and Assisted Living staff across Lakeview Health Center, Hillview Health Care Campus, and related sites. You will design an annual curriculum, customize online courses, and coordinate onboarding to support staff integration.
The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related health care field, training experience, and ability to work with diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related health care field is strongly preferred.
- Experience in planning, promoting and presenting educational programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Develop an annual integrated training curriculum using an on-line training system.
- Customize on-line courses to meet facility needs and coordinate in-service training.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with Human Resources to support staff integration.
- Chairs Quality Improvement Committee and coordinates the QAPI Plan with administration.
- Work with department managers to determine training needs and deliver targeted programs.
