Job summary

Epic, based on our campus in Madison, WI, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users. You’ll be the first contact for staff and shape their experience as they transition to Epic, helping them save lives through effective instruction.

From instructional design to training materials and scenarios, you’ll influence content and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days per typical month.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for many staff and shape their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Involved in training design and development of materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and help develop customer training.
• Engage in projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
