Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our campus in Madison, WI with relocation assistance. You will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and save lives.

You will design training materials, develop scenarios, and work in tight-knit teams to create workflow-based content and collaborate with client organizations to tailor training. Willingness to travel 25-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days; typical month includes 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Develop training materials and scenarios; oversee instructional design from start to finish.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and train other organizations.
• Support staff and users to transition to Epic and improve software usability.

Education

Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)

Prior education, teaching, or performance experience.

Public speaking or classroom presentation experience
