Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based at our Madison, WI campus with relocation support. You will lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and staff, and become the first contact for users transitioning to Epic.

The role covers instructional design, training materials, and scenario development to ensure effective adoption. You will work in tight-knit teams to craft workflow-based content and engagements with client organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, plus staff.
• Serve as first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their Epic experience.
• Involve in training process from instructional design to materials and scenarios delivered.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and help organizations develop their training.
• Contribute to projects to make our software more intuitive.
