Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. The role involves instructional design, developing training materials, and guiding users through their transition to Epic.

You will work with teams to craft workflow-based content and collaborate with organizations to tailor training. Relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed, with opportunities to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater required or preferred.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical months including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, in addition to staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Design and develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Work with teams to design workflow-based training content and collaborate with organizations to develop their training.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
• Provide information about the team and opportunities at Epic.
