The position requires awareness of HIPAA privacy, professional communication, and the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads. Experience with PeopleSoft Supply Chain is a plus, and the role may involve using pallet jacks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with staff and visitors per Jefferson values.
• Manages requisitions, shelves, and distributes medical and linen supplies to patient care areas from storerooms.
• Uses PeopleSoft Mobile Supply Chain for receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, par levels, and replenishment.
• Ensures supply/linen rooms and carts meet quotas; restocks areas and checks expiration dates.
• Maintains delivery documents, property tag log, and returned goods log.
• Safeguards patient information and communicates tactfully; adapts to changing situations per HIPAA.
• May use pallet jacks and furniture movers.
• Responds to phone, beeper, walk-ins, loading dock, and delivers supplies promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
