Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA seeks a Strategy & Innovation Analyst to assist in market research, synthesize themes, gather consumer insights, and prototype innovative solutions that create a competitive advantage.

The role reports to the Director of Strategy & Innovation and collaborates with business leaders and industry stakeholders. Based in Boston, the position is hybrid with two days in the office per week and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience or a recent graduate with relevant undergraduate degree; healthcare/tech/consulting preferred.
• Familiarity with human-centered design and design thinking methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze business problems and contribute to strategic solutions.
• Complete team player who builds strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholder engagement to understand challenges and strategic goals.
• Identify opportunities for innovation from business, customers, and members perspectives.
• Advance innovation initiatives through the process as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist in project tracking and reporting for active initiatives in the pipeline.
• Explore vendors and technologies to inform build/buy/partner recommendations.
• Draft content for facilitation and summaries (agendas, decks, memos).
• Assist leadership in developing materials and pitches for prioritized ideas.
