The role collaborates with nursing, department heads, and HR to address scheduling needs, track attendance, and manage time-off requests. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of staffing, scheduling, or administration experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Monitor absences, overtime, and call-offs; coordinate replacements.
• Communicate schedule changes to staff promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with department heads and HR to plan staffing needs and onboarding.
• Maintain records of schedules, attendance, and time-off requests for payroll and audits.
