Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a staffing/scheduling role within a Long Term Care health setting.
• Strong understanding of scheduling needs and shift requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in using staffing software and healthcare scheduling tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on care plans.
• Maintain caregiver schedules and resolve conflicts, emergencies, or call-outs.
• Track scheduling changes in company software.
• Communicate staffing needs to internal staff on a regular basis.
• Audit timecards to ensure hours match scheduled hours.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and good judgment for quality decisions.
• Coordinate and adjust staffing levels based on patient care needs.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
