Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a staffing/scheduling role within a Long Term Care health setting.
• Strong understanding of scheduling needs and shift requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in using staffing software and healthcare scheduling tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
2. Maintain all scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or “call-outs” arise. The company schedule must be complete three days before all scheduled shifts.
3. Track and record in company software for all scheduling changes.
4. Communicate and provide input to the internal staff on hiring needs on a regular basis.
5. Audits timecards on a regular basis to ensure hours match scheduled hours.
6. Demonstrate an ability to identify and solve problems; uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions.
7. Coordinate and adjust staffing levels based on patient care needs.
8. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members.
9. Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
