Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking an organized Staffing Coordinator to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will manage and maintain staffing schedules, ensuring coverage across all nursing departments while supporting daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking abilities and be proficient with Microsoft Office and staffing/payroll software.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing or scheduling in SNF/healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing schedules and staffing requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and staffing/payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules for all shifts.
• Coordinate staffing coverage for call-outs, vacations, leaves, and open shifts.
• Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and agency partners as needed.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure compliance with state and federal staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and attendance reports.
• Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping reconciliation.
• Track overtime and work to minimize unnecessary labor costs.
• Support onboarding and scheduling of new hires.
• Communicate professionally with employees regarding schedule updates and staffing needs.
• Assist with PBJ staffing data collection and reporting as needed.
