Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Irvine, CA seeks a Supervisor to manage daily operations across patient access, scheduling, and financial counseling. You will lead staff, coach performance, and ensure accurate registrations, while monitoring quality, productivity, and budget adherence.

You will collaborate with department leaders to improve efficiency and patient experience, uphold regulatory compliance, and resolve complex issues across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or health care management or 3-5 years registration/business office experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in team building and staff development preferred.
• Patient Access Only: Affinity, Chartmax, Amelior, RIS, SCM, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
• Centralized Scheduling Only: RIS, Quadramed, Unibased, Chartmaxx, Passport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations in designated areas to ensure accurate patient registration and scheduling.
• Monitor quality and accuracy of patient interactions and accounts, and resolve complex issues.
• Hire coaching and performance management of staff and promote staff development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple locations and budget monitoring.
