Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Irvine, CA seeks a Supervisor to manage daily operations across patient access, scheduling, and financial counseling. You will lead staff, coach performance, and ensure accurate registrations, while monitoring quality, productivity, and budget adherence.

You will collaborate with department leaders to improve efficiency and patient experience, uphold regulatory compliance, and resolve complex issues across multiple sites.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or health care management or 3-5 years registration/business office experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in team building and staff development preferred.
• Patient Access Only: Affinity, Chartmax, Amelior, RIS, SCM, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
• Centralized Scheduling Only: RIS, Quadramed, Unibased, Chartmaxx, Passport preferred.

Works to integrate services within area of responsibility to maximize efficiency, quality and provide a positive patient experience. Works collaboratively with department leaders and scheduling staff. Assists with the resolution of complex issues and problems. Works to ensure regulatory compliance for departments integrated across multiple locations and sites. Responsible for federal, state and regulatory compliance related to department oversight. Monitors productivity and budget. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years’ experience in registration, scheduling, customer service, business office experience or insurance verification experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or health care management or 3-5 years registration/business office experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in team building and staff development preferred.
• Patient Access Only: Experience with Affinity, Chartmax, Amelior, RIS, SCM, Outlook, Excel, Word and power point preferred.
• Centralized Patient Scheduling Only: Experience with RIS, Quadramed, Unibased, Chartmaxx, Passport preferred.
