Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee the Security department, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and procedures, and reporting to the Security Director. The role requires readiness to respond to emergencies and off-hours incidents when possible.

You will supervise staff, help develop security programs, manage incident reports, and coordinate visitor control and access procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare security settings preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement security programs.
• Strong incident reporting and investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs.
• Follow up on incident reports and dispatch entries.
• Determine work procedures, schedules, and instructions.
• Interview, train, and orient new personnel; disciplinary actions.
• Respond to active shooter or lethal threat and coordinate emergency responses (as needed).
