McLaren Port Huron is seeking a security professional to act as a first responder to emergencies and to protect patients, visitors, staff and property. The role includes rounds, incident documentation, and enforcing safety policies while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting other security personnel, monitoring compliance with badges and safety protocols, and participating in emergency drills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• No criminal records/violations.
• Driving record must meet insurance requirements.
• Six months of prior work experience (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Makes rounds inside and outside assigned areas, documents incidents, and initiates corrective actions.
• Assist hospital staff and escort visitors as needed.
• Observe and document policy non-conformances and PPE/safety procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information.
• Respond to calls from nursing and other departments to assist with disorderly patients or visitors.
• Follow established communication scripts when answering calls and interacting with entrants.
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills and planning.
• Perform other related duties as required.
