Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a shift on a healthcare client site. The role involves coordinating security services, supervising officers, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), and the ability to report clearly and manage crises as they arise.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and insurance.
• Background check and post-offer pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crises calmly and provide clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift and coordinate the delivery of quality services.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within the empowerment range.
