Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare seeks a Safety & Security Officer to foster a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff across clinics. You will patrol facilities, respond to incidents, and document events while maintaining privacy and following established safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a CA driver’s license, and BLS certification; bilingual abilities and healthcare exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of security officer or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance proof required.
• BLS certification is required upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-visibility patrols to deter incidents and identify risks.
• Monitor hazards, report concerns, and document incidents promptly.
• Escort employees, visitors, or patients as needed and ensure safety.
• Greet and assist patients and guests in a courteous manner.
• Maintain privacy and follow safety/security policies across sites.
