Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare in California is seeking a Safety & Security Officer to foster a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff at our clinics. The role emphasizes proactive risk mitigation, basic safety maintenance, and compassionate service.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident response, and enforcing access control while maintaining professional interaction across diverse backgrounds. Travel between Neighborhood Healthcare sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of security officer or similar experience preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license is required and maintained as a condition of employment.
• Active auto insurance required and maintained as a condition of employment.
• Bilingual abilities are highly preferred in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-visibility security patrols in clinical buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor and report safety hazards and environmental concerns promptly.
• Respond to incidents involving patients, visitors, or staff and document thoroughly.
• Enforce access control policies and perform visitor screening respectfully.
• Escort individuals to vehicles or destinations in low-light/high-stress situations.
• Complete Security Event Log entries after incidents or observations.
