RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Security Officer to patrol and secure MMC Specialty Care Center in Tinton Falls, NJ. The role emphasizes patient and staff safety, access control, and professional customer service, with duties including weapon screenings and incident reporting.

This hourly, per diem position requires a NJ driver license, SORA license, and the ability to obtain de-escalation training within 90 days.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey Driver's License; SORA security officer license required.
• Transfer NJ license/vehicle registration within 60 days of hire if out-of-state.
• Ability to obtain de-escalation training within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or security experience; military service preferred.
• Keyboarding, data entry, Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus depending on facility needs.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol facility indoors and outdoors to maintain safety and security.
• Monitor entrances and access control systems; address safety concerns.
• Provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Perform weapon screenings and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis de-escalation.
• Complete incident reports and data entry using computer systems.
