The role involves proactive patrols, assisting visitors and staff, and responding to incidents with calm, clear communication.

Ideal candidates will have a high school degree or GED and relevant security experience; certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related field preferred; minimum two years in a customer service, military, security position, or similar role.
• Experience in patrolling, incident reporting, defensive tactics, emergency response and access control; familiarity with CCTV operations and security software.

Responsibilities

• Provide security presence and professional customer service; patrol Mayo Clinic properties and sensitive areas.
• Assist visitors, patients and staff; respond to incidents and maintain logs and reports.
• Adapt to emergencies, manage crowd control, use two-way radios, and coordinate with law enforcement and fire personnel.
