Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in a full-time dispatch position in Eden Prairie, MN. You will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security incidents, and support access and alarm-related operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining dispatch logs, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with site leadership and first responders. Minimum two years in security, HS diploma, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and other security technology; receive calls for service; dispatch personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and visitor information while protecting confidential information.
• Coordinate routine and urgent communications with security staff, facility personnel, vendors, and first responders.
