Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a staffing and scheduling lead to ensure clinics are consistently staffed across our network. You will manage schedules, respond to real-time gaps, and build scalable processes that keep clinics running smoothly.

This role thrives on solving operational problems, turning data into better scheduling, and partnering with clinic and regional leaders to align coverage with patient volumes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in workforce operations, scheduling, or HR operations
• Strong Excel and data skills; Paycom or similar HRIS/timekeeping experience a plus
• Calm, quick decision-making under pressure

Responsibilities

• Build, coordinate, and maintain clinic schedules to ensure consistent staffing coverage
• Audit schedules for compliance with staffing requirements, labor rules, and company policy
• Partner with clinic and regional leaders to align staffing with patient volumes and clinic needs
• Manage real-time call-offs, last-minute gaps, and coverage needs across clinics
• Track attendance, tardiness, and schedule exceptions; support leaders with progressive discipline
• Analyze staffing trends and build dashboards giving leaders visibility into coverage and compliance
• Flag staffing shortages to Recruiting to prioritize hiring
• Maintain accurate schedule and timekeeping data in Paycom
