Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with patients, referring providers and IMA Providers to schedule appointments/procedures.
• Obtain and direct patient EMR to providers for approval; advise on preoperative requirements.
• Answer calls from a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments and procedures.
• Review referrals with documentation and obtain additional information as needed.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and preoperative information for patients.
