OrthoAlaska LLC is seeking a Patient Scheduling Specialist (Patient Advocate) to join Orthopedic Physicians Alaska. You will handle calls, emails, and in-person requests, scheduling patients with providers and collaborating with medical staff to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask: phone, emails, tasks, and in-person requests.
• Communicate calmly with patients, even in ill or upset states.
• Knowledge of medical practice protocols related to chart records and patient information.
• Patient-first approach with tact, professionalism and sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls.
• Use customer service principles to handle calls calmly and pleasantly.
• Register and schedule patients with providers per company protocol.
• Collaborate with medical providers and staff to ensure best outcomes for patients.
