Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Region in Newtown, PA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate appointment scheduling across Mercy Fitzgerald, Nazareth Hospital, St. Francis Wilmington and St. Mary Medical Center Langhorne.

The role requires expertise in scheduling protocols, registrations, insurance verification, and patient financial responsibility, with 40 hours per week (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) in a full-time daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of multiple scheduling systems.
• Proven ability to schedule complex diagnostic testing appointments.
• Experience scheduling for multiple facilities with protocol variations.
• Strong knowledge of third-party and government payer billing and reimbursement guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in monitoring call handling software and real-time reports to ensure SLA adherence.
• Accurately schedule appointments using scheduling protocols and verify insurance details.
• Complete scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification and authorization requirements.
• Analyze patient insurance and document correct insurance order; apply recurring visit processing.
