Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as medical assistant, secretary, unit secretary, surgical technician, or imaging support specialist preferred.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures across multiple rooms using scheduling system.
• Enter staff and schedule data, including personnel, budgets and coverage.
• Daily entry of patient and procedure data into the system independently.
• Assist manager with updating staff profiles.
• Assist program director with routine computer duties and timebooking tasks.
• Generate required reports and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with Anesthesia to schedule cases and assign physicians.
• Provide secretarial support including typing and revenue-related tasks.
