The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the hospital's risk management program, ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical standards. This senior role collaborates with leadership, clinicians, and staff to identify, avoid, and mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in New Mexico, 5+ years nursing experience with 3+ in a director/manager role, and strong expertise in healthcare risk management and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• NM RN license required.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a director or manager role.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management within a healthcare setting.
• CPHRM certification is a plus, required within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall risk management program, focusing on risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation.
• Collaborate with leadership, healthcare providers, and staff to implement effective risk management solutions.
• Manage litigation-related activities including investigations, interviews, and legal documentation.
• Provide training on risk management processes and incident reporting to hospital personnel.
• Offer expert consultation on informed consent, documentation standards, and disclosure practices.
• Oversee insurance policies related to professional liability, general liability, and property claims.
• Serve as the facility's Compliance and Ethics Officer.
