Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the hospital's risk program and assure compliance with healthcare regulations. This senior role focuses on risk identification, mitigation, and ethical standards across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a nursing background with an RN license in New Mexico, at least 5 years of nursing experience including 3 years in leadership, and may pursue CPHRM certification within three years of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• NM RN license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a director or manager role.
• CPHRM certification is a plus, required within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall risk management program, focusing on risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation.
• Collaborate with leadership, healthcare providers, and staff to implement effective risk management solutions.
• Manage litigation-related activities including investigations, interviews, and legal documentation.
• Provide training on risk management processes and incident reporting to hospital personnel.
• Offer expert consultation on informed consent, documentation standards, and disclosure practices.
• Oversee insurance policies related to professional liability, general liability, and property claims.
• Serve as the facility's Compliance and Ethics Officer.
