True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the hospital's risk management program and ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.

The role requires a nursing background, NM RN license, 5+ years in nursing with 3+ in leadership, and experience guiding risk programs, training staff, and supervising insurance matters. CPHRM certification pursued within three years of hire.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• NM RN license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a director or manager role.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management within a healthcare setting.
• CPHRM certification is a plus, required within three years of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the overall risk management program, focusing on risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation.
• Collaborate with leadership, healthcare providers, and staff to implement effective risk management solutions.
• Manage litigation-related activities including investigations, interviews, and legal documentation.
• Provide training on risk management processes and incident reporting to hospital personnel.
• Offer expert consultation on informed consent, documentation standards, and disclosure practices.
• Oversee insurance policies related to professional liability, general liability, and property claims.
• Serve as the facility's Compliance and Ethics Officer.
