Responsibilities

• Verifying daily Census.
• Verify all billing and financial data for new admissions.
• Medicare A & B Billing, Claims Corrections and Follow-up.
• Managed Care, Claims Corrections and Follow-up.
• Private Pay Billing and Collections; Medicaid Applications.
• Payment Processing, Reconciliation, and Reporting.
• Accounts Receivable Month-end Closing.
• Medicare Bad Debt Processing.
• Accounts Receivable Monitoring and Analysis.
• Refund Processing.
• Management and Reconciliation of the Residents Needs Account.
• Financial Cycle Oversight: AP, Purchasing, and Payroll.
• Staff Training and Development; supervision of AR/HR/AP/payroll staff.
