Job summary

Chapa-De Indian Health Program, Inc. is seeking a seasoned healthcare leader to oversee referral operations, telehealth and specialty care programs across its Auburn, CA clinics.

You will build strong supervisory teams and strengthen care coordination to serve diverse communities. This full-time role requires 3+ years of managing healthcare referrals and supervision, plus experience with Medi-Cal/Medicare, HIPAA, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing healthcare referrals.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience navigating Medi-Cal, Medicare, payer requirements, HIPAA, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Medical Referrals team with a culture of accountability and patient service.
• Oversee referral and authorization processes for timely access to care and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive process improvements for efficiency and outcomes.
• Support and expand telehealth and specialty programs to improve access across locations.
• Build relationships with providers, health plans, and community partners for seamless care coordination.
