Chapa-De Indian Health Program in California seeks a Medical Director to lead clinical care and build strong teams, advancing health equity with purpose.

We're looking for a mission-driven Medical Director to provide clinical leadership while helping shape strong teams, quality care, and the continued growth of Chapa-De's integrated community health model. This is an opportunity to pair clinical expertise with meaningful leadership that directly impacts patients, providers, and the communities we serve.
Salary: $325,000 - $360,000 full-time annual salary
Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.

Provide direct patient care while serving as a clinical leader and role model for high-quality, person-centered care.
Lead clinical standards, quality, and care delivery across Chapa-De's medical services.
Develop and mentor providers and emerging clinical leaders through coaching, collaboration, and professional development.
Use clinical and operational data to drive improvement in patient access, quality, and care outcomes.
Champion clinical compliance and regulatory readiness, including scope of practice, credentialing, licensing, and clinical standards.
Partner with executive and operational leaders to shape the future of Chapa-De's growing, multi-site medical program.
California Licensed Physician in Family Practice; Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Two years of clinical experience in the direct delivery of primary care.
Leadership role in a primary care health setting.
Current BLS CPR certificate required.
Current DEA certificate.
Valid Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and DMV printout.
