Mercyhealth is seeking a Receptionist in Illinois to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role handles phones, visitor management, and clerical duties while supporting Epic Scheduling and Registration processes.

The candidate will assist with patient check-in, verify demographics, collect co-pays when required, and ensure privacy. This position is full-time with daytime shifts and requires excellent communication.

Qualificações

• Provides courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and callers.
• Answers and routes phone calls and messages.
• Gathers and verifies patient information for scheduling and check-in.

Responsabilidades

• Answers incoming telephone calls and forwards to appropriate personnel.
• Welcomes visitors and manages sign-in procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks including mail, supplies, and faxes.
• Schedules patient appointments and handles Epic Scheduling and Registration processes.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
