Job summary

Quinault Community Health in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Support Specialist with healthcare experience to support quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance across Quinault Community Health and Quinault Wellness Center.

The ideal candidate will collect and analyze healthcare data, perform medical record reviews, generate KPI dashboards, and assist with corrective action plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent healthcare quality experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare administration, operations, quality, or related role.
• Healthcare experience essential; comfortable with patient records, healthcare data, and clinical documentation.
• Experience collecting, reviewing, abstracting, validating, analyzing, and reporting healthcare data.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality measures, patient satisfaction indicators, and continuous quality improvement principles.
• Ability to identify trends, recognize performance gaps, and assist with improvement plans.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy practices including 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn and use EHR reporting tools, quality management systems, incident reporting systems, and data analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and written communications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with healthcare providers and leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient quality metrics, patient satisfaction data, and KPI information.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for leadership.
• Track improvement initiatives and assist with corrective action plans across departments.
• Support patient safety, risk management, and incident follow-up activities.
• Participate in Environment of Care (EOC) rounds and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with accreditation surveys and readiness activities.
• Coordinate quality committee activities and document outcomes.
