Qualifications

Washington State Licensed Medical Assistant in good standing.
At least one year of phlebotomy experience or training.
Knowledge of primary care, mental health, and addiction medicine developments.

Responsibilities

Welcome and room patients while creating a respectful and supportive experience.
Obtain and accurately document vital signs and other patient information.
Prepare examination and treatment rooms and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures within your scope.
Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and other specimens.
Conduct routine laboratory, screening, and diagnostic testing.
Perform EKGs and operate medical equipment.
Provide wound care as directed by the provider.
Maintain accurate electronic health records and clinical documentation.
Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements.
