Job summary

SMG System Medical Group is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing workflow for incoming physicians and APPs, including licensure, privilege documentation, and onboarding coordination.

The role requires experience in credentialing within a healthcare setting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records across multiple departments and systems.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or High School Diploma with 2 years healthcare or administrative experience.
• One year of experience with privileging/credentialing preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates credentialing for incoming doctors and APPs, including licensure and privilege documentation.
• Coordinates reappointment packets and builds reports from multiple data sources to validate requirements.
• Tracks state licenses and board certifications to ensure compliance and up-to-date records.
• Manages FPPE and OPPE processes and distributes records to required partners.
• Coordinates with Health Partners Network for payor enrollment to ensure provider enrollment with payors.
• Maintains CME records and keeps transcripts updated in accordance with standards.
