Job summary

SMG System Medical Group seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to oversee the transition of provider credentials, licensing, and privilege documentation for new physicians and APPs. This role interfaces with onboarding teams, regulatory bodies, and multi-site leadership to ensure timely credentialing and enrollment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with healthcare/administrative experience.
• 1 year experience with privileging/credentialing.
• 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate credentialing for incoming doctors and APPs, including licensure, agreements and privilege documentation.
• Coordinate APP support including payroll related tasks and scheduling needs.
• Prepare reappointment packets and build reports from multiple data sources.
• Track state licenses, board certifications and training to ensure compliance.
• Manage provider evaluations and maintain records for FPPE/OPPE.
• Coordinate payor enrollment with Health Partners Network.

Associates Degree

High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 2 years of healthcare or administrative experience
