Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in Morgantown, WV seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to support onboarding, licensure, and credentialing for physicians and APPs. You will manage reappointment packets, licensing requirements, and payor enrollment coordination across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required or equivalent combination.
• HS diploma or equivalent with 2 years healthcare/administrative experience.
• Experience with privileging/credentialing preferred.
• 1 year experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates credentialing for incoming doctors and APPs: licensure, agreements, credentialing forms and liaison with others.
• APP support: payroll, scheduling, and related clerical tasks incl. EPIC setup.
• Coordinates reappointment packets and builds reports from multiple data sources.
• Tracks licenses, board certs, and training for providers.
• Manages FPPE and OPPE processes and maintains records.
• Coordinates payor enrollment with Health Partners Network.
• Monitors state boards for changes and communicates provider matters.
• Maintains CME records and transcripts.
• Maintains knowledge of JCAHO/NCQA/URAQ standards and accreditation processes.
• Manages online credentialing data base and supports data needs.
• Implements credentialing data and software.
• Maintains WVUHS Insurance Provider Enrollment tasks (staff profiles, reports, alerts, docs, and new hire forms).
• Presents credentialing/onboarding status in meetings and communicates delays.
• Assists in department projects.
• Maintains clinic schedules and site affiliations across locations.
