Job summary

SMGWVU Medicine is seeking a Provider Credentialing & Onboarding Coordinator to remotely manage credentialing processes for physicians and APPs. You will coordinate licensure, privileges, and documentation, acting as the liaison between medical staff affairs and onboarding teams across the system.

The role supports APPs with agreements, meetings, payroll-related tasks, and system access setup, including EPIC. Requires an associate degree and healthcare administrative experience.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with privileging/credentialing.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates credentialing for incoming providers, coordinates licensure and privilege documentation, and liaises with onboarding teams and regulatory bodies.
• Provides APP-specific support including meetings, scheduling, payroll-related tasks, and setup activities such as EPIC and access provisioning.
