Job summary

Weiser Memorial Hospital seeks a Medical Staff Coordinator to oversee credentialing, privileging, governance, and onboarding for the provider workforce. This role coordinates with HR, Quality & Risk, Payor Enrollment, and Education Services to ensure verifications, licenses, certifications, and documentation are complete and current.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business, healthcare administrative, or a related field.
• Experience in medical staff services, credentialing, provider relations, or a related function preferred.
• Certification in Medical Staff Services or credentialing preferred; if not certified, ability to obtain within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and privileging for medical staff.
• Manage day-to-day workflows with credentialing resources and monitor timelines.
• Maintain confidential medical staff records and information systems.
• Administer Medical Staff governance processes and coordinate meetings.
